We are proud to announce our 2018-2019 conservatory season! (All plays are under consideration.) Students who join any of our productions can also receive curriculum-based classes in all areas of the performing arts: voice technique, ballet, Broadway jazz, acting, improv, and scene study. (These classes are separate from rehearsals.) In addition to those classes, we will be bringing in special guests from the world of theatre.
To register for a conservatory production, please complete the ASC Conservatory Fall 2019 Registration Form and either bring in the hard copy to ASC or scan and email a soft copy to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be aware of registration deadlines. Those registering late will incur a late penalty.

The lion cub Simba cannot wait to be king of his father’s pride, but when a seemingly tragic accident happens and Simba gets his wish, he must flee home. Along the way, he meets new friends and realizes he must face his past. The Lion King musical is the winner of several Drama Desk, Tony, Laurence Olivier, and Molière Awards.

This one-night-only concert will feature students from Area Stage's Fall Musical Theatre Intensive. These artists will perform songs from favorite contemporary Broadway shows, such as Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, and SpongeBob.

ASC's Inclusion Theatre Project will perform Disney's The Little Mermaid JR, a magical story about a young mermaid who longs to leave her ocean home and be part of the world above.

In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home—and her fins—behind and live in the world above. But first, she will have to defy her father, King Triton, who has other plans for his youngest daughter. After a stormy confrontation with King Triton, Ariel visits sea witch Ursula who has an enticing bargain that will give Ariel what she wants, but Ursula isn’t a witch for nothing.

Dorothy and her newfound friends travel the seemingly peaceful Yellow Brick Road while alluding the Wicked Witch of the West. Come see Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion in this classic uplifting musical. This edition is the Young Performers' Edition.
