THE BALLAD OF JANIS MATTHEWS
By Giancarlo Rodaz & Rachel Dean
Young Janis Matthews just wanted to get out of her house for the summer. Little did she know she'd be sent on a journey that would decide the fate of her little Rocky Mountain town. Set in 1968 Colorado, this folk-rock musical is one young girl's rollicking journey through an increasingly divided America. With an exciting new score inspired by Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Joni Mitchell, and other classic artists of the time, The Ballad of Janis Matthews is an exciting adventure for all ages that examines the cultural revolution of the 60s, and its consequences on our families and children.
